Vintage chronograph pocket watch movement. This movement has a broken
staff, but I think you can get it running if you put a staff in it.
It is an hunting case movement and the stem is at 3:00. Under the dial
it the chronograph mechanism. It is nail set at about 4:00 and the
chronograph pusher is at 6:00. Unmarked except for the patent date May 3
1883.

High
grade vintage watch movement. It measures 42mm wide. It is an open face
movement with the arbor at 6:00 for the seconds hand.
It winds and would set properly if it had the hour and minute wheels.
It does run and has a good staff. There is some very minor surface rust
on some of the parts, should clean right up with a good cleaning. On
the plate where it normally would have the makers name, someone has
ground off the name and only left the word "adjusted". I'm not sure who
made it but it has features found on Patek and V&C.

This is a great pocket watch. I'm not sure if the name on the case is
correct for the movement, it may be recased. The staff is bad, but the
balance does swing in the dial up position. The bezel is hinged. This
was had a center seconds sweep hand and the arbor is still there, the
hand is just gone. Needs new hands. The lid does close and pops open
when the button is pushed. The case needs a little work on the lids, but
minor work. A great watch that just needs to be repaired. Sold as-is for parts or repair. |

run a little fast. I think just oiling the balance will probably slow it
down. It may be missing the whiplash spring, I see 2 holes on the
balance cock. This would be good for making a wristwatch. No case.
