W812

Vintage Bradley pocket watch that was made by Westclox in the 1970s.   Made in the USA.  It has the Georgia Railroad logo on the dial. The dial is enameled metal, it is not a fake dial made on a printer.  The watch is near mint.  It has a locomotive engraved on the back and is marked Great American Railroads  with a special serial number.
This watch was part of the master set that made by Bradley. There were 18 watches in the set.
$85.00
W811

Hinged pocket watch protector case. These were used on pocket watches to avoid them getting scratches or dented. It is called the " Ajax Watch Insulator ". It is near mint  and unused in the original box. It fits a 12 size watch. The case is black enameled high gloss tin and a blue velvet lined interior. I would guess it is from the 1920s or 30s. $50.00
W809

Vintage Westclox pocket watch that is in the original box. It was part of the Johnny Zero line of watches aimed at a younger market. This is a very rare piece and even rarer to find in the original box. The box is missing a flat insert that held the watch in place, but the instructions are still in the box.   The button allows it to be used as a stopwatch. Made in the USA.

Vintage South Bend pocket watch box. This is an empty box with no watch in it. It is for a 12 size watch. It is metal with a leatherete covering. There is no latch and it never had one. There is no spring to hold the lid closed, I'm not sure if it ever had one but usually boxes without a latch had a spring.   Overall good condition.  Guaranteed to be original. $100.00
W801

Vintage Hamilton pocket watch box. This is an empty box with no watch in it. It will fit a 16 size watch such as a 992 or 950. It appears to be metal with a black leatherette covering. When you push the button on the front, the lid pops open about 1" and a slight push will open it up the rest of the way. I think if you put a few drops of oil on the hinge, it may spring open all the way, but I did not want to put oil on it.   Overall good condition.  Guaranteed to be original. $100.00

This is a good example of a classic Hamilton display case. The bezel and the back snap on and off firmly. This case can be used for a lever set or stem set watch [some of these cases will only work for a lever set].  I tried a 16 size Hamilton movement in it and it wound and set.

Vintage Caravelle pocket watch - it has a 17 jewel Swiss windup movement and a skeletonized movement that was done at the factory by cutting out the plates before the watch was assembled.  This watch is from the 1960s or 70s.  Measures 1 13/16" wide. When you push the button on the crown, the lid pops open by itself.

Seth Thomas 18 size pocket watch that is not marked.  I believe these watches were made for catalogue companies like Sears and sold with no guarantee. With no name, you could not get any warranty work done on it, so it could be sold at a rock bottom price. It runs and keeps good time.

This is an unusual Seth Thomas. They did not mark the movement or the dial except for an eagle on the movement. I guarantee it to be a Seth Thomas.
The bezel and the back thread on and off smoothly. No cross threading or other problems.  There is some wear on the milling, but since the case is solid nickel, there is no brassing.
