Good writer. I put a little cement on the section to stabilize the barrel, but you can get the section out with a little heat if you want to fix the crack. The other crack is in the corner of the lever opening and goes out 1/4".

It is an lever fill pen and it is a good smooth writer. The color is the very hard to find cracked ice. P807		Swan Mabie Todd pencil from the 1920s.  It is pearl and black veined plastic with gold filled trim. No trim wear. Works great.  This pencil would match a 42 or 44 Swan flattop pen. 5 1/16" long. There is a crack near the top just below the derby. The derby is hard to pull off and someone had used something to pry it off at one time leaving some small marks.	$65.00
