This is a really nice set with great color. It has not been serviced and
you will need to service it if you intend to use it. The trim is perfect
except for the pencil cone [point] which was only gold washed and is
brassed now. The pen was filled once but was probably never really used.
The transparent parts of the barrel still have perfect transparency. This
is an end of the line Toledo set, but it is still high quality. Great
imprint which is unusual on these pens. The pencil has no imprint and it
never did. The pencil does work. The imprint is high on the barrel, just
like a Nozac imprint would be. |

Conklin fountain pen clip that was made in the USA in 1920s. There is
almost no wear on the clip. There is one tiny tiny wear spot, the size
of the head of a pin and it is on the side of the clip. These clips are
very hard to find in good condition. This one is near mint. There is no
rust on the springed mounting bar, in fact it still has most of it's
copper plating.
Maker: Conklin
Year: 1920s
Country of Origin:
USA
Material:
gold filled
Condition:
There is 1 pin size wear spot on the side
Length:
29.5mm
Marking:
Conklin Pat May 28 1918
This is a great example of a Conklin clip. This is a good original gold
filled clip. Gold plating just does not hold up as well as the original
gold filled. |

This is a vintage Conklin dummy. I guarantee it to be old. I got it years
ago at the auction of a closing jewelry store. The store had been in
business since the 1890s. |

Conklin "Ensemble" fountain pen pencil combo that
was made in the USA in 1930s. The trim and color are great on this pen.
It looks like the cap lip has been shortened a tiny bit, but the overall
condition is so nice, it makes that flaw acceptable on this pen.

black

Country of Origin: USA
Cap Material:
plastic
Barrel Material:
plastic
Cap Style: screw on
Trim Material: gold filled

Nib Marking:
Conklin Toledo USA
Nib Material:

Ensemble
Imprint Location: barrel
Imprint Condition: excellent
Filling System: Lever Filler
This is a great example of a Conklin Ensemble combo. It does have one
flaw, the shortened cap, but the color is really nice and the trim has no
wear [and you probably know how the clips wear on Conklins!]. The pencil
works properly. |
