Waterman 100 Year
Fountain Pen Counter Top Store Display
Case - 18" tall and 19" wide - grey painted steel with chrome accents & glass panels. Waterman 100 Year Sign on top with light behind it. Inside there is the original 20 pen tray that is plastic. I'm sure the tray was made of plastic because of all the promotions Waterman did over the 100 year plastic. There are also 4 shelves to put boxed sets on. There are some nicks & scratches but overall it is in excellent condition. The back is hinged and the key is included. The light needs to be rewired. The cord was bad & I cut it off. This is a rare case & unusual because it was made for a specific pen. |

Sealed in cellophane bag (marked by Waterman). I opened the top flap of bag to inspect the pen & put it right back. Unrestored but probably works. Not returnable if inked, 5". |

Waterman fountain pen and pencil set that was made
in England. The pencil functions properly. The pen is lever fill. They
are black plastic with gold plated trim. 5 1/4" long. The pen has a
14K gold nib [med flex] & is unrestored. The clips have side to side
play, mainly the pencil, but the pen also has some. Just seems like a
poor design. Maybe you can tighten it up, but I am selling the set
as-is. |

Vintage Waterman 52V hard rubber display fountain
pen that was made in the USA in 1920s. These pens were made
out of rejected parts from the Waterman factory. The cap on this
pen is chipped on the back and the cap is glued right on the barrel.
These were made to provide display pens for window displays were
sunlight would harm a good pen and also to reduce the risk of a pen
being stolen [the thief would only end up with a piece of junk]. It has
the original price band on the barrel.

Vintage Waterman fountain pen that was made in the USA in the 1940s. It is made of white plastic with gold filled trim. It is lever filled. This is the shorter version of this pen at 4 7/8" long. It has no barrel or cap imprint [which is common on these pens]. The nib is a Waterman # 2 broad flex. The pen is restored. It fills properly.
It writes smooth and wet. There is a flaw up near the clip in the plastic.
It is either an age crack, a deep scratch or a factory flaw.
You will see it in the close-up at the top of the cap. It is a great pen, but it does have that one flaw.

Waterman Factory Display showing the "steps in the manufacture of hard rubber parts", circa 1920s, 18 5/8", 15". Shows the progression from raw rubber right up to the finished pen ( a Waterman 52 with Gold Filled trim). The 14 steps all have the original mounted parts. # 13 is a factory cutaway demonstrator, which is a valuable pen on it's own.
Heavy cardboard with cord for hanging on wall. Lower corner has a crease otherwise excellent condition. Every Waterman collector needs one of these!

All pieces are inside the original mailing envelope that they were originally sent in.
