International Schaffhausen men's wrist watch case back from the
1930s or 40s. It measures 21.5mm wide 30.5mm long. It is steel and
marked with the IWC logo. I think it fits a calibre 83, but I'm not
sure.
Vintage catalog of Certina wristwatches. It probably dates from the 1950's. It is 52 pages and has
pictures of men's and ladies watches and movements. It shows their bumper automatic movements and a hand indicated date watch. It
shows tank styles and round cases in steel gold filled and gold. Also some lapel
watch and pocket watches. Comes with separate price sheets of original prices. It states that they were located in the Empire State Building. Catalogues from this company are very scarce.
Book that was printed by the Omega Watch Co. to celebrate it's 100th
anniversary in 1950. It is 60 pages (no pictures) and deals with the history of the company but overall it is filled with propaganda about Switzerland. Interesting because of the off beat content. The book has a heavy
cardboard cover which is still covered with a protective wax paper.
The book is near mint under the wax cover. The outer cardboard cover is yellowed from age.
