Vintage Westclox windup pocket watch. Made in the USA. There is
a small clamp on the back of the case, which was installed there from
the factory, but I have no idea what it is for. The back of the watch
was made special for the clamp. It runs but it lost 10 minutes in 12
hours. It may just need to be regulated.

This a near mint example of a Yankee watch. This was made prior to the
take-over by Waterbury. It has a coin edge case which is unusual. Nice
watch. Still has the watch paper on the inside of the back. The
information was never filled out. |

This is a very rare watch. It's the only one I have ever had. There are
3 models listed in some price guides, but no descriptions or photos to
help with identification. It should just need a cleaning to get it
running. |

Vintage Liberty Connecticut Watch Co. pocket watch that was made
in by Ingersoll. This was their last backwind movement and may have
just been a way to use up old parts. The serial number would indicate
that the watch was made in after 1930, but that seems very late for a
backwind.

This a very odd watch. It was definitely made by Ingersoll, but I don't
know if there really was a Connecticut Watch Co or it was just a way to
sell a watch at a lower price. The back has come loose from the hinge
but it still stays on the watch firmly. The watch does not run, but the
balance will swing and it should just need a cleaning. According to the
serial number this watch was made after 1930, but I am skeptical of the
serial number. |

Waterbury. Nice watch. Still has the watch paper on the inside of
the back. It doesn't run on it's own but if you give the crown a little
extra twist, it will run. |

very minor scuffs

This is a very difficult watch to find. The backset models are hard to
find but the gold washed ones are just about impossible to find. I left
the finish basically how I found it. The gold wash is just about gone
and the metal below has a deep tarnish. It may polish up but I decided
to just leave it alone. It almost looks like the case is copper or the
plating under the gold wash was copper. The word Yankee on the dial is
still strong, but the Ingersoll name under it is faint. If you give the
watch a good shake it will run for 10 seconds or so. Probably just needs
to be serviced. |

This watch is in excellent condition, except for some scuff marks on the

perfect time. |

Group
of 4 vintage windup pocket watches. They are all Westclox Pocket Bens.
In the top row the one on the left is running but the sweep hand slips
[sometimes it moves and sometimes it doesn't]. The crystal has a small
hairline on the edge.
The one on the right in the top row is not running, the crystal is good
but it is yellowed.
The one on the left in the bottom row has no crystal. It does seem to run
fairly well.
The one on the right in the lower row seems to be running but the hour
hand is a little bent up. They are all USA made with no jewels. This
group is sold as is for parts or repairs. |

Vintage Westclox Pocket Ben with the lighted dial from the 1960s.
It is mint in a mint box and unused. This model has a small bulb at the
bottom of the dial and a button on the bottom of the case to make the
bulb light. The watch runs and keeps good time, but I did not test the
light. It has never had a battery in it and the battery terminal is
perfect. It comes in the correct box and the instructions are inside.
The original price sticker is still on the back of the watch. I did not
test the light and I am selling the watch as-is. Just like any other
seller, I will not accept a returns on unused vintage items once they
have been used (that means even if the light does not work). This is a
very rare model and it was discontinued very quickly. |
