W716

Very rare vintage pocket watch case that was made with the key to wind the watch built into the stem of the case. You unscrew what looks like a crown and when you remove it it has a watch key under it. The case is coin silver and was made by Fahy's in the 1800s.  It is 18 size and I have tried an American pocket watch movement in it [it is for a US made movement.
The bezel and the 2 back covers are all hinged. They all snap shut firmly and it has not had any work done to the lids to make them shut correctly. It is in good original condition. The hinges are all good. There are some very minor nicks on the case and some scuffs, but no deep scratches or dents.
The crystal is thick glass with a beveled edge.  The crystal is in excellent used condition. No scratches and only some very minor pin size nicks. Overall this case is in excellent condition. This is the first time I have had one of these cases in 20 years of buying watches.
W718

Vintage Rodania ladies pendant/purse pocket watch from the 1950s.  It measures 1 3/8" wide and has an nice design on the front and the back.  The watch is running and keeping perfect time.  The watch is in near mint condition. No wear. The case, dial and movement are marked Rodania. The lid on the front of the watch pops open when you push the crown down. Rodania is mostly known for wristwatches and they used one of their men's wristwatch movements to make this petite pocket watch. The case is gold plated. Beautiful watch.
W713

Vintage railroad style pocket watch from the 1920s or 30s. It has a 17 jewel windup movement and it seems to be running fairly well. The case is chrome plated and the dial is porcelain. It was made in Switzerland by Judex.  It is running but it runs a little slow and looses about 5 minutes a day.
It is pendant set. It measures 2 1/8" wide. The dial has a few minor cracks.
The case has no wear. There is a locomotive on the dial.  This watch is running but it has not been serviced so I am selling it as-is.  Good crown and crystal.
W580

Ladies pendant watch that made by Whiting and Davis. It looks like a nice pendant with a multicolored glass "stone" but when you turn it over you will find a windup watch. The pendant measures 1 5/16" wide and 2 5/8" tall. It is not a petite pendant!  It has a 17 jewel windup movement and the dial is marked Caravelle [which is made by Bulova]. The pendant is gold plated and it is in excellent condition. I wound the watch up and it seems to be running really well and it has kept good time for the last 2 hours. I have not had the watch serviced, so I cannot give any guarantees about accuracy on it. It is a very nice piece of jewelry and the watch is a bonus! It is marked Whiting and Davis on the back.  This watch came from a jewelry store that I just cleaned out. $65.00
W231 w231.JPG (32407 bytes) Gallet split second stop watch that is probably from the 1960s and is in excellent condition. It is 7 jewels. The sweep hand goes all the way round in 10 seconds. The seconds are divided into
1/10ths. It has a minute register. The crown operates all functions. The dial is marked Gallet by Racine. Racine is Gallet's parent company. The movement is marked Racine. There are some light scratches on the back, otherwise it shows little use. It works perfectly. This is a large watch, like an 18 size pocket watch. It measures 2 3/16" wide [55mm].
$75.00
W83 w83.jpg (22268 bytes) Near mint Elgin 16 size porcelain Montgomery dial. It has 3 posts [feet]. they are located behind the 4, 7 and 11 hour marks. There are some minor scuff marks, but no chips or cracks. This is a great vintage dial. $100.00
W233

Pocket watch case that is marked Lip inside and has the calibre number 403. It is for a 39mm windup movement. There is no crown or bow. The case is stainless steel. It has a good plastic crystal.  $40.00
