This is a good example of a classic Hamilton display case. The bezel and
the back snap on and off firmly. This case can be used for a lever set
or stem set watch [some of these cases will only work for a lever set].
I tried a 16 size Hamilton movement in it and it wound and set.
Vintage Hamilton pocket watch box. This is an empty box with no
watch in it. It will fit a 16 size watch such as a 992 or 950. It
appears to be metal with a black leatherette covering. When you push the
button on the front, the lid pops open about 1" and a slight push will
open it up the rest of the way. I think if you put a few drops of oil on
the hinge, it may spring open all the way, but I did not want to put oil
on it. Overall good condition. Guaranteed to be original.
Vintage South Bend pocket watch box. This is an empty box with no
watch in it. It is for a 12 size watch. It is metal with a leatherette
covering. There is no latch and it never had one. There is no spring to
hold the lid closed, I'm not sure if it ever had one but usually boxes
without a latch had a spring. Overall good condition. Guaranteed to
be original.
Vintage Hoffritz pocket watch that has a built in alarm.
Hoffritz is known for it's kitchenware, so they must have sold these
for you to time your roast? It is in excellent condition. Keeps good
time. The alarm works properly. Big watch, 2" diameter, like an 18
size. The dial and hands are near mint.

Hinged pocket watch protector case. These were used on pocket watches to
avoid them getting scratches or dented. It is called the " Ajax Watch
Insulator ". It is near mint and unused in the original box. It fits a
12 size watch. The case is black enameled high gloss tin and a blue
velvet lined interior. I would guess it is from the 1920s or 30s.
Vintage Bradley pocket watch that was made by Westclox in
the 1970s. Made in the USA. It has the Georgia Railroad logo
on the dial. The dial is enameled metal, it is not a fake dial made on a
printer. The watch is near mint. It has a locomotive engraved on the
back and is marked Great American Railroads with a special
serial number.
This watch was part of the master set that made by Bradley. There were
18 watches in the set.
Vintage Westclox Conductor Railroad style pocket watch from the
1960s. It is near mint in the box. It is running and keeping good
time. Gold plated case with an engraved locomotive on the back. It comes
with the original chain. Measures 1 7/8" wide. Made in the USA.

pocket watches were made by Waltham using
wristwatch movements so they could make them with
thin cases.
