Ullrich J & Company

27 Thames St and later  161  Washington St.  NYC. Prolific seller of stylographic fountain pens. Most are black or red hard rubber.  Names included Vulcan, Independent, Kompeter and Juco. The name JUCO comes from J. Uhlrich Co. Juco and Independent are the most common names on his pens. Their trademark was a heart with a stylized JU&Co in it. They have a gold filled overlay stylographic pen listed in their catalog, but I doubt if they sold many.
