NYC The Gem pen co made low to medium quality pens from around 1900-1940.
Gem pens aren’t eagerly collected and most are plain pens. They had a lot
of trademarks such as: Ford, Improved Special, Schoolhouse, Trouble Proof,
Kant, Scratch, Noxall, Monarch and more. I don’t know what they did with
all of those marks, I don’t know if I have ever had any of them. The pens
by them that I have encountered have been eyedroppers, coin filler,
thumb fillers and lever fillers. |
