Philadelphia
Pa. The factory was in Germantown and the salesroom was at 51 N. 10th St.
Franklin S. Cooley and Goodrich moved from New York state to Philadelphia to
start a pen company away from the stiff competition in NYC. It made perfect
sense to move to another large city that had no real pen company. They
started with an eyedropper and later came out with a pull filler. They did
survive into the plastic age with lever fillers. I don’t think they ever
advertised nationally but seemed happy to sell locally and make pens for
other companies. They sold some great overlays and filigrees.
