Wis. I really couldn’t do justice to Parker in the space here. George Parker
started selling pens in the late 1880s. He sold some great overlays in the
eyedropper era. The Parker button fill pen was a pen standard that carried
the company for 20 years. The Big Red Duofold may be the most famous pen in
the world. If they had gone out of business in 1930, they would still be a
legend today. But in the 1930s they released the Vacumatic, which was one of
the greatest pens of all time. Then in 1941 they released the pen that
would completely change the pen world, the Parker 51. They would continue
making this pen for over 30 years. The 75 pen was one of their last
classics. They were the greatest pen company in the world.
