Ink and fountain pen dealer owned by Francis Cashell Brown. Sold Stylographic pens, eyedropper and safety pens. His safety pen was the basis for the later Waterman safety. His safety sold so well overseas Caw's opened a branch office in London. Brown was involved with many pen companies and has his own listing above.  Models included the Dainty, Dashaway , Easy and more. Had a great logo with a blackbird standing on an ink bottle. Brown was sued by Paul Wirt over the similarity between the Caw's Dashaway and the Wirt pens. Wirt won. Caw's also sold an interesting pen filler that would fill eyedropper pens right from the bottle and eliminate the need for the eyedropper.  His safety pen is probably the most sought after from the line. In 1889 President Benjamin Harrison and his wife both used Caw's Dashaway pens.   See also Francis Brown.
