Providence RI.
Baird North was a mail order jewelry house started in 1895. They claimed to
be the worlds largest mail order jewelers, but I have my doubts about that
claim. They sold fountain pens under their name and also sold Waterman,
Parker, Conklin and Crocker pens.
The Baird-North pens of the teens were eyedroppers,
safety, thumb fillers and some middle joint fillers.
I believe some of their pens may have been made by B&H. In the 1920s they
seemed to have settled on lever fill pens. I believe that all
of their pens were black hard rubber. |
