Parker fountain pen desk base that
was made in the USA in the 1920s. It is bronze or copper. It
measures 4" wide. It is in beautiful condition with the original
finish. The mount is for a Lady Duofold size desk pen, a
depression size pen or a lucky curve pen. It is too narrow for a
Duofold Jr. pen. There is no pen included, just the base. The pen
holder [vase] is marked Parker, the base is not marked. |

This is not a great writer. The nib has a crack and some
dents, so it is never going to be a great writer with the original
nib. I could have replaced the nib with a warranted nib, but it is
very important to have the original nib in this pen. The nib has
the Parker date code and it is another sign that this pen was made
by Parker. This pen was made for Good Service by Parker. It is
identical to a Parkette, except for the markings. |

This is a great looking pen set with beautiful color. Nice smooth
writer. This is a large size for this model. This is a hard pen
to find with nice color. The cap band on these pencils is actually
the flange of the pencil mechanism. It is the only part that was
gold plated instead of filled and of course it is always worn. The
cap band on the pen is nice [gold filled]. |

Parker 45 Coronet fountain pen that was

Parker Parkette fountain pen and pencil set
from the 1930s. It is lever fill, which is rare in Parker pens.
The plastic is burgundy and black marbled plastic just like the
Duofold streamlined pens. The set is in good used condition.
They are both missing one of the 2 bands that were up near the
top of their caps. The other band is also loose on the pen.
There are some chew marks up near the top. The pen has not been
serviced. It has a good 14K Parkette nib. There is trim wear.
Not a mint set. Just a hard to find set in good condition. This
pen is notorious for having a missing clip. |

This is a nice example of a classic fluted Parkette. The
trim shows a little wear, but most of the Parkettes have terrible
trim and they often have loose cap bands, so actually this pen is
outstanding in comparison. |
