This is a great looking pen with excellent color. The imprint seems a little strange without the word pen in it. The ball of the clip is worn like usual, but there is a deep scratch or wear mark on it also. Otherwise the pen is excellent. Really smooth writer. This is a hard pen to find with nice color.

P776

Good Service fountain pen that was made by Parker in the USA in the 1930s. It is just like a fluted  Parkette pen from the 30s. The nib even has the Parker date code for 1937.  It is a lever fill  pen and it has been serviced and it is a good writer.

Country of Origin:  USA
Cap Material:  plastic
Barrel Material:  plastic
Style:  flattop

Plate wear:  all of the trim has some plating wear
Imprint:   Good Service Pen Co Chicago
Imprint location:
barrel
Imprint condition: Good
Filling system:
lever fill

This is not a great writer. The nib has a crack and some dents, so it is never going to be a great writer with the original nib. I could have replaced the nib with a warranted nib, but it is very important to have the original nib in this pen. The nib has the Parker date code and it is another sign that this pen was made by Parker. This pen was made for Good Service by Parker. It is identical to a Parkette, except for the markings.

This is a great looking pen set with beautiful color. Nice smooth writer. This is a large size for this model.  This is a hard pen to find with nice color. The cap band on these pencils is actually the flange of the pencil mechanism. It is the only part that was gold plated instead of filled and of course it is always worn. The cap band on the pen is nice [gold filled].
