Security fountain pen that was made in the USA
in 1930s. It is a twist filler [bladder + pressure bar style] pen
and it has been serviced and it is a good smooth writer. Great color but the
barrel is somewhat darker than the cap. This is one of the last pens
made by Security before they stopped production. The nib is
marked Educator, which is what was marked on the later nibs when these
pens were assembled by college students. This pen was part of a
group of Security pens I bought a few years ago from the estate of a
former salesman. This pen has the check protector. A lot of the plastic
Security pens have no check protector. There are no cracks but there are
chips on each side of the check protector [I have shown the larger chip
in the close-up]. The chips are covered by the derby.

Nice writing pen with a smooth nib. This is a very rare pen and may
be a prototype. I have heard that there may be 1 or 2 other pens like
this but I have not seen one. |

JUCO [J Uhlrich & Co] Vulcan fountain pen that was

Not mint, but it is in excellent used condition. The wire is there, but
the part that it is mounted on is stuck, it may just need a little
cleaning up, or the wire may be short, I'm not sure. This is a very
unusual pen. |

Vintage overlay safety fountain pen that was made around

Ever Rite fountain pen that was made in New
Jersey in the 1930s. It is a long short style pen.
When the cap is screwed down, the pen is very short, but when you post
the cap, you have a long pen. I guess it is an eyedropper fill pen,
there is no filling system but the section does have a long neck on it?

Spors glass nib fountain pen in mottled brown and white plastic. Earlier
Spors pens were crescent fill Conklin imitators and although this one is a later lever fill, they have kind of used the
Conklin style rocker clip on it. Made in Japan. Unrestored. Excellent color. Slight warpage of the lever opening in the barrel, but overall the pen is in excellent condition. |
