Superite ladies ringtop fountain pen
and pencil set that was made in the USA in the 1920s. It is near mint and
comes in the original box. Superite pens were made by DeWitt LaFrance
and basically became the Carter line of fountain pens. Check the close-up
of the lever with the bar mounted beneath, compare it to a Carters lever.
It is 18K green gold filled with no wear. The pen and pencil have a
really nice even patina, so I did not polish it, it looks too good just
the way it is. I don't think this set was ever really used, it had been
filled a few times but it shows no signs of real use. The pen has been
serviced and the pencil does work.
