Huge
gold dip pen nib. It measures 48mm long and 10mm wide. This is a LARGE
nib. It is marked William Mann Phila. No7. William Mann was a
stationer in Philadelphia and New York and was in business going back to
the 1850s. It is close to a full flex nib. The tines are aligned really
well. I dipped it and it seems to write really well. The iridium is
perfect. It is a fine nib, but not needle fine, it is a little more toward
the medium side. The nib has no cracks. I dipped it and it will write a
full line if you use light pressure [fine line]. When I applied more
pressure, it wrote a wide line but it would only lay down 3 words at a
time.
Vintage Parker 51 fountain pen nib removal
tool that was made in the USA in the 1940s. This tool was used to remove
the nib with the hood still in place. You would slide the tab down behind
the nib and catch the tiny bump in the breather hole of the nib and pull
it out. They did work but I wouldn't recommend this tool for use today.
I'm just selling it as a relic
Babb dip pen nibs., This is 2 boxes of # 2 School nibs. I
didn't count them, but they look full, so there is probably over 200
nibs. they are mint unused and have no rust. They have some
