Smooth writer. Fills and empties easily.  Great bright color. Excellent barrel transparency.  It is a double jewel [pen with a striped jewel on top and a black jewel on the bottom. This is original. The bottom "jewel" is actually a part of the blind cap on this model. The tassy was pressed on during this assembly period.  This pen has a large nib. It measures 21.5mm from the tip of the iridium to the end of the section [the part of the nib that is "showing"].  It has the Speedline filler that was soon discontinued because of the start of WWII. Near mint pen that shows very little use.
