This pen has only a slight difference between the cap and the
barrel color. Excellent writer, very smooth. |

Parker Duofold Sr. fountain pen barrel
that was made in the USA in the 20s. The color is great on this
barrel. The imprint is like new. The barrel threads are excellent.
I tried a blind cap on the bottom, and it threaded on perfectly. I
tried a cap on the barrel and the threads engaged really well.
There are no problems with this barrel. It is an outstanding
barrel in every way. I found this in a box of pen parts but I
don't have a cap nice enough to match it. This is a Duofold Sr.
barrel that will fit the big flattop pen from the 20s. The barrel
takes a threaded section, not a slip in streamlined section. If
you have a nice cap, this is what you have been waiting for.

This is a nice clean pen. It is a good smooth writer. The color
isn't perfect, but I would still rate it as excellent [compared to
other Duofolds in this color]. A lot of Parker collectors seem to
look down on the Canadian made pens, but these 1920s Duofolds were
the same quality and actually they seem to have flex nibs more
often than the US pens. |

Parker Duofold Jr. fountain pen and pencil set
mint in the original box. This is a flattop set from the 1920s in lapis blue. 4 9/16". Perfect color with no staining. Perfect trim with no wear. This set was used, but very little, it may have only been tested. The pen still has the original price sticker on the bottom of the blind cap. The set does have a mans name engraved on the barrels [H Albert Wrucke]. The set is just about mint and comes in a very unusual box ,which I am sure is original. I'm sorry if the engraving bother you, but it is a great set with beautiful color. Unrestored.
